What is Wokingham Rocks?

Wokingham Rocks is a what’s on website established for families and individuals looking for things to do in and around Wokingham.
The website is full of really helpful information on days out, walks, children’s classes and activities for families locally.
Alongside the website we have an ever-growing community on Facebook and Instagram. If you haven’t already please do give us a follow to keep up to date with everything that’s going on in our wonderful town.

About me

I live in Wokingham with my husband and 2 Children aged 4 and 1.
We have lived in Wokingham for over 7 years and feel very settled here.
With 2 young children we are living and breathing family life in Wokingham on a daily basis. Our town has so much to offer families with beautiful green spaces to walk in, brilliant playgrounds, days out, activities and classes for kids. It’s no surprise that Wokingham is voted one of the Top 10 places in the UK to raise a family!

In the beginning

During lockdown, in March 2020, I started a little Instagram blog to share things to do in Wokingham with young children during lockdown. Partly for my own benefit to remember what we did during this strange time but also to get inspiration from others and to keep my own rascals entertained during lockdown. I really enjoyed sharing my knowledge with other parents, and I passionately believe there is a huge opportunity for a single destination, one-stop shop, for family inspiration in and around Wokingham so Wokingham Rocks was born!

Shop Local

As avid fans of supporting local businesses, the Wokingham Rocks website contains a directory of local independent shops, party suppliers, eateries and bars. I feel lucky to be in a position to use Wokingham Rocks platform as a low cost advertising space to help small businesses in our area.

Wokingham Rocks of the future

Wokingham Rocks is a labour of love and we are more than happy to use our platform to share information about what is going on and assist our audience in supporting local business.

All being well 2021 we will see Wokingham Rocks continuing to share all the amazing activities, attractions and events in the local area and provide support to local business by offering a low-cost advertising solution.
