Heathlake, an area of woodland and heathland in Crowthorne.

A Site of Special Scientific Interest, the shallow 7 acre lake is the only acid lake in Berkshire, with a naturally low pH supporting several rare plants.

There's a path all around the lake, with plenty of opportunities to see all the beautiful swans, ducks and birdlife.

It can get quite muddy, so wellies and off-road pushchairs are advised in wetter weather.
Explore the woodland by taking the higher path around the lake. Play hide and seek amongst the tall pine trees!
There are plenty of benches around the lake to take a moment to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
