Visitors can watch amazing acts in the Main Arena – from motorcycle wonderkids to highly trained gundogs, majestic falcons to marching bands. 

There is a village green area with live music, a well-stocked bar and food stands. We have a dedicated food and drink area where you can buy delicious treats to eat immediately as well as artisan produce to take home.

There is a wide variety of trade stands selling everything from beauty and skin products to soft furnishings, phone accessories to charity stands. In the craft marquee you will find lovingly created clothes, jewellery and gifts and may see a demonstration of crafts such as spinning wool.

For the country feel there is a horse show over the two days and a dog show for all breeds, young and old. Children will be spellbound by the magician and will want to try out the selection of roundabouts and rides and even crazy golf!  If you love looking round vintage vehicles, there will be an extensive range thanks to the car owners who love showing off their beautifully restored treasures.

The show started as a horticultural exhibition over 100 years ago and there is still a large marquee full of produce and flowers that locals enter into many categories in the hope of winning bragging rights for their superior specimens. The cost of a ticket has remained the same at £10 (for online and cashless purchases)  despite steeply rising costs as we want to keep it affordable for our visitors. And Children (up to 18) still go free !! Due to the increasing costs of security, tickets purchased on the gate in cash will be £12.
