FLAMENCA MAGICA at WOKINGHAM LIBRARY

Let the Spring sunshine in with rhythmical riffs and vibrant dance from Flamenca Magica at Wokingham Library, Carnival Hub, Saturday 27 April, 11-12 midday. Fun and free - all welcome! 

Flamenco is now recognised as a UNESCO intangible cultural heritage of humanity and the members of this flamenco combo are excited to be bringing authentic, entertaining and compelling performance direct to your local library.

Originating in the southern, Andalusian region of Spain, mainly among the gypsy population, Flamenco has grown and grown in stature and is now practiced by enthusiasts and aficionados the world over. Its unique and skilled blend of music and dance is unrivalled in its raw passion, colour and evocative power, its strong character demanding the total focus of mind, body and all the senses of each performer. 

And when it all comes together and the group find and share that sweet spot of total, mutual homage to the music - that's when the magic happens and that's what you'll see from Flamenca Magica next Saturday.
