The Acorn Community Centre is located next to Woosehill Medical Centre on Fernlea Drive. The Centre is home to the Optalis Learning Disabilities Day Centre, and the Acorn café and garden are open to the public. There are meeting rooms and a small hall available to hire for evenings and weekends.

The café is open Tuesdays to Fridays 09:30am to 2pm for hot and cold drinks, snacks and light lunches.

Come and enjoy a coffee, have a look round the Sensory Garden and buy a pot plant or two from the Growing Places project.
