Gorrick Woods

Gorrick Wood, a hidden gem between Crowthorne and Wokingham, best explored on foot as can be muddy in places.

There isn't any parking at the Plantation itself, but there is street parking on Tangley Drive, please remember to park considerately.

At the end of Tangley Drive you turn left and pass under the railway bridge. You come to the entrance of Ludgrove school which does have public access at this point. The first 2km of the route is a tarmacked track so ideal for bikes and scooters however the woods itself can be muddy and are not buggy friendly. There are some beautiful views and lots of farm animals grazing so its worth a visit if you go dressed appropriately!
