Are you the parent or teacher of a KS3 or KS3 student, looking for productions to bring your teen along to? Look no further than the Wokingham Youth Theatre's electrifying production of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein.
At just eighteen, Mary Shelley imagined a creature whose story would electrify readers for generations. Now, her words crackle to life on stage in Rona Munro’s thrilling new adaptation, where Mary herself steps into the action, battling her creation and confronting the challenges facing revolutionary young women, then and now.
A young scientist named Frankenstein brings a body to life, only to cast it adrift in a world that refuses to accept it. As the Creature searches desperately for identity, companionship and truth, rejection pushes him toward a darker path.
