Aldermoors Nature Reserve
Alderwood Nature Reserve in Woodley is named after the Alder trees which populate this small woodland.
Located in a shallow valley there is a small river tributary running through the woodland, with bridges allowing you to cross from one side to the other. These are also great for a quick game of pooh sticks with the children!
During the spring time the woodland floor is full of beautiful wild flowers such as bluebells, marigold and primroses.
Parking is available at Ashenbury Park, off Tippings lane
