Avanti Cycling's - Free family sessions
Details
If you’re thinking of cycling as a family you might like to consider doing one of Avanti Cycling's FREE short sessions dedicated to riding as a group. You’ll be taken on a relaxed and informative ride during which you’ll pick up some useful and specific skills.Their instructors have plenty of experience teaching little people how to navigate the traffic with confidence and they can share with you some do’s and don’ts, useful insights into what motivates children to cycle and some tips relating to mechanical problems you might encounter.
Riding as a family with your children is a great way of enjoying quality time together. These sessions give you some useful skills such as 'shepherding' less experienced riders when cycling in traffic.
Our family sessions are part of our Bikeability training program which is mainly delivered to year 5 & 6 in schools. Families with younger or older children are welcome to attend family training.
The sessions last up to 4 hours with a break, starting with an off-road cycle skills session and moving to local roads.
Minimum 2 and up to 6 people - minimum one adult (parent or guardian) over 18.
1 ticket is for a family up to 6 people. Only book 1 place for 1 family.
