Buckhurst Meadows
Buckhurst Meadow, is located on the edge of Montague Park housing development. It’s a circular walk through a community orchard leading to a maturing wildflower meadow near Floreat Montague Park School.
There is a huge reed bed in the centre of the walk, which is home to some very friendly ducks and all sorts of dragon flies.
The walk is approximately 1.7km so ideal for little legs. The paths are maintained so its suitable for buggies and bikes.
Towards the back of the development is a children’s playground, a further 2 lakes, and probably the highlight for many is the fairy trail. Local families have created some beautiful fairy doors and fixed them to trees along the trail for children to spot. Feel free to bring your own and add to the growing trail.
There is a small carpark as well as visitor spaces throughout the development
