Get your pencils sharpened and ready to draw with Rikin Parekh, Illustrator of Fearless Fairy Tales, for an interactive draw-along event. Rikin will be looking at classic fairytales, such as The Three Little Pigs, Rapunzel, Jack and the Beanstalk Stalk and the Gingerbread Man! He will also teach you how to draw some characters from the book ‘Fearless Fairy Tales’ AND will be inviting you to create a new fairytale character from your own imagination!

Event details:

• Sunday 19th October at 3pm (doors open at 2:45pm).
• Wokingham Town Hall
• Aimed at ages 4 to 8.
• Approx 45 mins for talk then followed by a book signing.

Rikin studied art at the Camberwell College of Arts and the University of Westminster. He has since worked designing monsters for the film industry and selling books for a national chain. He’s recently illustrated for Roald Dahl and is currently illustrating a non-fiction series with Historian Greg Jenner and a fiction series with Author Jo Nadin.
When he’s not drawing, you’ll probably find him at the cinema or at Comic Con.
