Fruit picking is one of our favourite things to do during the summer months. Not only is it a great day outside for the kids, who can burn-off lots of energy, but you also end the day with lots of fresh fruit or veg to eat! So here is our round-up of local Pick Your Own Farms.
PYO NEAR WOKINGHAM
Grays Farm
Fully open from 10th June for the 2021 PYO season. Grays Farm have over 10 miles of strawberries and 2 miles of raspberries along with so many other fresh fruits and vegetables such as broccoli, spinach, cabbage, blackberries, and many many more!
Open Monday to Saturday 9am-6pm (Closed Sundays)

West Green Fruits
Opening at the end of June, West Green Fruits have over 25 acres of pick your own fruits. As their name suggests West Green specialise in PYO fruit, particularly berries. Their shop also sells New Potatoes, and ready picked vegetables as well as home made Jam and Judes Ice cream! Jams and Jude's Ice-Cream.

A LITTLE FURTHER AWAY
Secretts, Godalming
Unfortunately they will not be opening the PYO Farm in 2021, but they may open for some pop up picking days during the season. These will be advertised on their website and social media platforms.
Garsons, Esher
Garsons is an award-winning Garden Centre and Farm Shop, where you'll also find one of the UK's largest 'Pick Your Own' Farms. The PYO Farm is now open for the 2021 season. A PYO 'Farm Pass' is required to enter and must be booked in advance of visiting via their website.
Crockford Bridge Farm, Weybridge
This family owned farm near Weybridge grows 20 different crops that are available for you to pick yourself directly from the fields. Tickets need to be booked in advance and are available 7 days in advance. Whilst at the farm you can also visit the delicious ice cream parlour and tea shack.
OPEN FARM SUNDAY
On the 27th June 2021 is the annual LEAF open farm Sunday. 1000s of farms all over the country open their doors to the public during this weekend. This is a great free initiative to get children interested in where their food comes from. Many farms have activities such as tractor rides, harvesting and planting, and treasure hunts.
