PYO Sunflower Patches near Berkshire

August is officially sunflower season and this year and it is going to be a good one! 

Nothing says summer & happiness more than a field of sunflowers stretching out ahead of you and the kiddies running around the fields. We have pulled together a round up of some of the best sunflower patches near Berkshire. If you know of any we haven’t mentioned please let us know and we will add them to our guide.

Our top tip for visiting all sunflower fields is to take your own secateurs as they can be tricky to cut and not always available to borrow (We've been caught out by this before and trust us it doesn't end well). Trainers are also advisable! 

Fordingbridge Maize Maze and PYO Sunflowers.

Opens: 22nd - 31st August 2025.

Bickton Manor Farm, Fordingbridge, Hampshire, SP6 2HA

Open daily 9.30– last entry 4pm PYO Sunflowers and Maize Maze. 9 varieties of sunflowers growing together with various shades, hues and sizes for you to choose and pick. Single-stem, tall traditional yellows to multi-stem small oranges and auburns. Booking necessary: Pay for what you pick: £1 a stem or £5 for a bunch of 6.

The 2025 Puzzle Maize, set over 5 acres is filled with fun challenges and puzzles. The Munchin Maze is designed for the younger participant or those who need a little help finding their way out! Booking necessary.

The escape room is a fantastic introduction for first-timers, however still challenging for experienced escapees! Recommended age is 13+ Booking necessary, please see website for more information.

“Art on the Farm” is back and a wonderful opportunity for all, allowing the urban world of graffiti to a field near you! Create your tag, your graffiti signature or move onto a throwie, your tag design filled with colour.

Express yourself and become a graffitist, adding your amazing style and sense of colour to the event. The barrel train is also not to be missed, take a ride around the patch and you can spot your favourite sunflowers! And not forgetting the games pit, so much fun for all! Garsons Farm, Esher.

Winterdown Road, Esher, Surrey KT10 8LS.

Open Monday – Saturday from 9am, Sunday from 10am. Garsons Farm is a PYO farm in Esher, Surrey, and always has a huge selection of crops available for picking, including sunflowers in the summer.

We love Garsons and their huge range of crops to pick but the sunflowers are always a highlight.

Opening for our 2025 Sunflowers very soon! We are just waiting for them to bloom so that we can open the gates to you once again. As soon as we can we will release tickets but keep following us on social media for updates!

• Bale play area with small teepees, sandpit and coloring area for our younger visitors.

Sam’s Sunflowers

PYO: St Peters Road, Northney, Hayling Island, PO11 0RJ

(Farm Shop: Stoke Fruit Farm Shop, 77 Havant Rd, Hayling Island, PO11 0PT)

Probably one of the most famous sunflower fields in the South East! Sam has been managing this farm for years and it’s become one of our favourite places to visit during the school holidays.
