Which class is right for you?

Mini Tennis Tots Sessions

Tots Tennis is for children aged 3 to 5 years old and enables them to learn the basics and how to enjoy the game through a series of fun activities, based on the fundamental areas of balance, co-ordination, agility, movement and racket and ball skills.

Mini Tennis Red

Mini Tennis Red is aimed at players aged  5 – 8yrs.  It is played on small courts with short rackets and soft balls.  It’s just like the real game, basic techniques are covered and gives players opportunities to have long rallies and play different types of shots.

Junior Tennis Orange

Junior Tennis Orange is a great way for players to continue their progress from Mini Tennis Red and is a great starting point for beginner junior players over the age of 8 years.  It is played with shorter rackets, softer balls and courts are bigger and wider than the red stage but still smaller than full-size tennis courts allowing players to play the game whilst learning a range of techniques and tactics.

Junior Tennis Green

Junior Tennis Green is a great way for developing junior players ( 10+yrs) to continue their progress whilst not yet facing the difficulties of playing with the higher bouncing yellow ball.  It is played on a full size tennis court, with bigger rackets and balls which are a little softer than yellow balls.  It’s the next stage before moving on to full compression yellow balls on a full sized court and helps players develop and improve all aspects of their game.

Junior Tennis Yellow

Junior Tennis Yellow sessions are for intermediate junior players aged 11+  who have a good understanding of tennis and can control the ball on both the forehand and backhand side.  It is played on a full tennis court, with full size rackets and full compression yellow balls.  It’s the last stage of your tennis development and the technique and skills that you have developed through the stages of mini tennis can now be put into practice.
