Wokingham Town Centre including Denmark Street, Elms Field and the Town Hall.

This is one of Wokingham‘s biggest events in the calendar and it is back for its 27th year. Organised by the Wokingham Lions Club the event will taking place from the Town Hall through to Elms Field, with Denmark Street closed to traffic. There will be over 125 stalls from charities, local trades and crafts, lots of food & drink options, children’s rides, a petting zoo, music and dance and circus acts around the event.

Along with the above there will also be a fun fair, Morris Dancers, Punch & Judy, a magic show and internationally renowned Giant Balloon Show.

It’s a full day of family entertainment, all in aid of local causes and – it’s free to enter! Although the event is free donations are welcomed, this year the event is supporting two local charities Camp Mohawk and Thames Hospice.

Camp Mohawk is a multi-functional day centre for children with special needs and their families, set in 5 acres of beautiful countryside, just outside Wargrave, Berkshire. Throughout the year the centre provides a range of activities, facilities and natural space to encourage children with a variety of special needs to play, socialise and learn in a secure and caring environment.

Thames Hospice do an absolutely amazing job treating everyone with kindness, compassion and providing a safe and caring environment for those facing a life-limiting illness.
